De la vora a l'horitzó is a solo exhibition of the artist Marta Pujades consisting of a selection of ten photographs in black and white and an installation with video and sculpture. The protagonists in this photographic series are always women, even in the photos that do not appear in those in which we perceive the human presence as an aura, a soft and gentle wind radiating from the rocks or water as femininity captured in her absence. Three of the ten images show women lying like the life-size sculpture, wrapped in light or dark but damp fabrics in direct contact with nature. A delicate nod to those self-portraits in which the Cuban artist Ana Mendieta was smearing mud clung to the grass or a tree trunk; to life, without more, that life that male chauvinism violence kills regularly. The opening was at the center of Torre de ses Puntes in Manacor, Mallorca, from April 22 to May 2016.
De la vora a l'horitzó es una exposición individual de la artista Marta Pujades que consta de una selección de diez fotografías en blanco y negro y una instalación compuesta por vídeo y escultura. Las protagonistas en esta serie fotográfica son siempre mujeres, incluso en las fotos en las que no aparecen, en aquellas en las que percibimos la presencia humana como un aura, un viento suave y apacible que irradia entre las rocas o el agua como feminidad capturada en su ausencia. Tres de las diez imágenes muestran a mujeres tumbadas, como la escultura a tamaño real, envueltas en telas claras u oscuras pero húmedas, en contacto directo con la naturaleza. Un delicado guiño a aquellos autorretratos en los que la artista cubana Ana Mendieta se manchaba de barro, se aferraba a la hierba o al tronco de un árbol; a la vida, sin más, esa que la violencia machista arrebata odiosamente con insultante regularidad. Pudo visitarse en el centro Torre de ses Puntes de Manacor, Mallorca, a partir del 22 de abril hasta mayo de 2016.
